When I was in preschool, my favorite time of day was when I was allowed to draw and paint. It was always a natural passion. As I got older, this love never faded and eventually I went to college to study art at University of Colorado at Denver first, then Colorado Institute of Art. When I was in preschool, my favorite time of day was when I was allowed to draw and paint. It was always a natural passion. As I got older, this love never faded and eventually I went to college to study art at University of Colorado at Denver first, then Colorado Institute of Art. At this point life threw a bunch of curve balls, I veered left to pursue and become a long time hairstylist while my "feeding the soul" passion got put on the back shelf much of my adult life.

I use many different mediums, such as watercolors, acrylics, and pen and ink. And various surfaces such as canvas, watercolor paper, wood, and more. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style. So many more ideas to come!

I am deeply drawn to color, texture, line, shape both organic and geometric with everything in between, nature, people, light and dark, objects, and life in general with all of the senses.

My Loves in life that add to my inspiration are my wonderful son, partner, feisty and sweet Siamese cat Charlie, gluten free baking, cooking, nature, being able to share a smile with strangers, supporting others creative endeavors, live theatre, comedy, road trips, friends and family. Having Gratitude in my heart for even the smallest of things and for each day.
